(OTCBB: FRZT), which creates family friendly video games for smartphones, tablets and PCs, announced that its newest game, Rocket Weasel, will be coming to Apple devices and Android smartphones and tablets in February. In the same genre as Angry Birds and Cut The Rope, Rocket Weasel is an interactive puzzler that features lovable cartoon characters.

“Rocket Weasel is designed for kids of all ages,” explains Freeze Tag CEO Craig Holland, “Our focus group tests with children and adults have revealed fantastic results. We’ve specifically developed Rocket Weasel to work well on all of the new tablets and smartphones people got for Christmas.”

During the holidays, tablet and smartphone sales skyrocketed. “Based on data from Amazon, we believe the Amazon Kindle Fire likely sold 4-5 million units in the holiday season,” Morgan Keenan analyst Travis McCourt reported. Apple products also sold well during the holidays, with 4.2 million iOS devices (iPads, iPhones, and iPod Touches) on Christmas Day alone.
